BBQ Baked Beans with Smoked Conecuh Sausage

When it comes to “Must Haves” for a BBQ, baked beans are on the top of my list! You would be blackballed from most southern BBQ’s if you didn’t have them on your buffet table!

This recipe for BBQ Baked Beans has so much to love. Sweet pork and beans coupled with crispy fried bacon and DO NOT forget, the wonderful spicy Conecuh Sausage. This side dish could be a meal in and of itself!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Cook bacon and set aside to crumble when cools. Cook onions until soft in bacon grease. Add sausage and garlic and cook just until browned.

  3. In a large casserole dish, add beans and cooked onions, garlic and sausage. Add in crumbled bacon, ketchup, brown sugar, maple syrup, ACV and Mustard. Mix well.

  4. Top with just a pinch of brown sugar.

  5. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes until bubbly and hot.
